Thursday (11/5) HeadStart hosted the second of the year, Family Fun Night at the MN Children's Museum. HeadStart classes, and their families, from all over the East Metro attended.
Alley always enjoys the MN Children's Museum, but she was particularly excited to play with all her classmates and teachers!
One of the highlights of the night was Story Time on the second floor. Many of the students sat in front and listened to the stories. The best part was when we all jumped, clapped, laughed, sung and read along with the stories!
Another highlight was when Alley face painted all three of our faces!

As Fall is upon us and we stare out our front window at the beautiful Lake Phalen, we can not help but think about so many things.
When we look at the water, we are faced with it soon being frozen and so will be our play.
When we look at the pretty golden leaves, it reminds us of the beauty and diversity we gain by living here.
When we watch the branches blow in the wind, our futures are not obvious but by our faith we are kept warm at home.
“However, as it is written: “What no eye has seen, what no ear has heard, and what no human mind has conceived” — the things God has prepared for those who love him—”

Our home church, Emmanuel Christian Center, is preparing for exciting expansions and we hope to be a part of what is to come.
Another chapter in our family is the diagnosis of Lung Cancer of Nana Bubbles. She just started chemo therapy this week. We have been blessed to have such strong wills in our family and we know that she will be triumphant! Our prayers for her have been constant and our thoughts for her peace.
